About This Service

Childs Play Pre-School & After School operates from an extension to the domestic dwelling of the registered provider in the village Mucklagh in rural Co. Offaly. This service is operating since 1996. The service caters for children aged 2 to 6 years. Thirty-two children are enrolled in the service. Childs Play Pre-School & After School provides both indoor and outdoor facilities. The service consists of two indoor playrooms, the large playroom and the small playroom, a reception area and cloakroom area. Playroom 1 provides a larger open plan area. The outdoor facility is multifaceted and includes an all-weather surface area, artificial grass area, hard surface, and a soft surface beneath the play equipment. A large circular enclosed roofed pergola, and another roofed sensory area are also provided. The main entrance opens into the large play room. Four toilets. and four wash hand basins are provided for children’s use. The premises is used for the sole purpose of operating a pre-school service.
