Clever Cloggs

About This Service

Clever Cloggs is a full day care service located in a residential area of Clontarf on the north side of Dublin city and is registered to provide early childhood care and education to a maximum of 130 children aged 0 to 6 years old, Monday to Friday. The service operates an Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme sessional service from 9.00am to 12.00pm and also operates a registered school age service. The service is one of two services operated by the registered provider. Clever Cloggs operates from the ground and first floor of a converted building and currently has five care rooms to include on the ground floor: ECCE rooms 1 to 3 each catering for children from 3 to 6 years old. On the first floor: the Wobbler Room (currently 1 to 2 years old), and Toddler room (1 to 3 years old). There are sanitary facilities and/or nappy changing facilities located off each of the care rooms, and a cot room located off the Wobbler room. Further sanitary facilities are available for staff. An outdoor play area is located to the front of the premises, however due to poor weather conditions this was not reviewed on the day of the inspection.
