About This Service
Derrywash Montessori Preschool & Afterschool is a sessional service located on the grounds of a primary school near Castlebar, Co Mayo. The service was originally based in a room in the primary school but has evolved to become an outdoor preschool. There is a large well-developed enclosed outdoor space for play with a prefabricated building known as the “cabin”, a wooden art room, a large polytunnel and sanitary facilities provided. The service is registered to cater for children aged from two to six years of age and provides a morning session from 08:45-11:45hours.
