About This Service
operation in 2012, and which was newly acquired by the registered provider in July 2024. To date the service has accommodated a maximum of 40 pre-school children aged 3-6 years on a sessional basis. A school aged service is also provided. Premises The service is conducted from the ground floor of a purpose-built premises located in a rural setting outside Ardee in Co Louth. There are three care rooms provided on the premises, namely the Junior Room, the Senior Room and the Afterschool Room. A further smaller room currently used for small group activities and storage of additional play materials and equipment is due to be re-purposed into a more spacious staff room than is currently available. Ancillary accommodation includes a spacious reception area, an office, a kitchen, a staff room and a sluice room. Parking facilities are available to the front of the building and a fully enclosed outdoor play area is provided to the rear of the building.
