About This Service
pre-school children aged 2 years to 6 years by the present Registered Provider. The service provides sessional childcare and education to children from 08:40 to 11:40am and 12:00 – 15:00hrs. Learning is facilitated through an emergent interest curriculum delivered through the medium of the Irish language in the service. There is a large secure outdoor area available to the children for daily outdoor play. The proposed change as advised by the registered provider is increase the numbers of children attending from 17 – 19. Premises The service is situated in a classroom at the rear of the national school situated on the outskirts of an urban area and the service has its own entrance door.
