Toonsbridge Playschool

About This Service

Toonsbridge Playschool is an established privately owned early years service that is in operation since 1996. The service is a registered sessional service to accommodate children aged 2 to 6 years. On day of inspection the children were aged between 3 and 6 years and were availing of the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme. Daily opening hours are from 09:30 to 12:30 hours each day Monday to Friday. Toonsbridge Playschool consists of two playrooms that are positioned on the ground floor of a converted detached domestic house that is located in a rural setting in Kilnamartyra, Macroom Co Cork. Only one of the two playrooms was in operation on day of inspection. There is kitchen for adult use only and a locked storage room. There was an adequate number of toilets for the adults and children in attendance. There was a spacious compact, secured outdoor play area available to the children located beside the building.
