About This Service
Yellow House Montessori is an established early years service in operation since 2016. It is a privately owned service, that provides sessional care. It is registered to accommodate a maximum of 22 children aged 2 to 6 years. The service currently caters for children from the age of 2 years 8 months to 6 years and for children attending the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme. While the service is registered to operate from 09:00 to 14:00 hours each day, the services current opening hours are from 09:00 to 12:00 hours each day Monday to Friday. The premise is situated on a main road leading into Skibbereen town in Co Cork. The service is situated within a terraced, period style, three storey premises. The service occupies the ground floor only and has been suitably adapted and modernised to provide a childcare facility. It consists of a compact lobby leading to 2 interlinked playrooms. It has sufficient children’s toilet facilities, a separate adult toilet and a staff kitchen. The children have direct secured access to a compact outdoor play area to the rear side of the service.
