About This Service

Buttercups playschool and afterschool is a privately operated sessional service, located in Castlebar town in County Mayo. The service is registered to cater for 19 children aged from two to six years of age between the hours of 09:30 – 12:30 Monday to Friday. On the day of inspection, the registered provider informed the inspector they are operating the service single handedly and catering for a maximum of 11 children. A school aged service is also provided. The premises situated in a single storey building has one playroom, kitchen area, office and sanitary facilities. An enclosed outdoor area dedicated for use by the children is located to the rear of the premises.
